EASY PEARL PEA PITA POCKETS

Makes 8 mini pita pockets

INGREDIENTS
16-20 Pearl Pea Marlie Bites, 4 wholemeal pita pockets halved, 1 cup baby spinach, 1⁄2 cucumber sliced, 1⁄2 red capsicum sliced, 1 tablespoon of basil pesto, 1⁄2 cup natural yoghurt, 1 lemon

METHOD
Cook your Pearl Pea Bites.
Mix yoghurt, pesto + most of the lemon juice and set aside.                                                           
Put each pita half in the toaster. Once lightly toasted fill with your salad ingredients.                 
Place your cooked bites into your pita. Alternatively you can break the bites apart with a fork into crumbled pieces.
Drizzle a tablespoon of pesto yoghurt and the lemon juice over the top.                                     
Enjoy for dinner or pack them for a tasty lunch.

BETTY BEETROOT MINI BURGERS

Makes 16 mini burgers or 4 large

INGREDIENTS
16 Betty Beetroot Marlie Bites, 4 large or 16 mini wholemeal buns, lettuce, 1⁄2 cucumber sliced, 1 red onion, Swiss cheese slices, 1 avocado, 1 tablespoon of natural yoghurt, 1⁄2 a lemon

METHOD
Cook your Betty Beetroot Bites.
Thinly slice and cook your onion.
Slice lettuce + cucumber.
Mash avocado with yoghurt + lemon.
Place buns + fillings on your table and start building your burgers.

RECOMMENDED BUILDING METHOD
Bottom bun first, then red onion, Marlie Bite, cheese, cucumber, lettuce and a dollop of avocado, finished with the top bun.
Serve with kumara chips.

MARLIE BITES MIXED PLATTER

Mixed platters are something the whole family can enjoy with flavours for everyone's tastes. We created this Marlie Bites mixed platter with your little one in mind, although we think any adult would be equally happy.

Platters are a great way to get your little ones trying new foods and flavour combinations.

Cook 24 Marlie Bites and add a few of your favourite things.

TOPPER IDEAS
Hummus, smashed avocado
Greek yoghurt dip
Carrot + cucumber sticks
Red + yellow capsicum strips
Grapes, sliced cheese, dried apricots
Gherkins, olives, pretzels, crackers
Pita pockets toasted & chopped into quarters

CHRISTOPHER CARROT PIZZA

Makes 1 large or 4 mini pizzas

BASE
100g natural unsweetened yoghurt, 100g self-raising flour

TOPPINGS
12 Christopher Carrot Marlie Bites, pizza sauce of your choice, spinach, sliced onion, sliced tomato, grated pumpkin (around 1⁄2 cup), grated cheese (around 1 cup)

METHOD
In a bowl mix flour + yoghurt to form a dough and set aside for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 225C.
Line a tray with baking paper and roll out the dough on top.
Spread with pizza sauce and sprinkle onion, tomato slices + spinach over top. Then place the Marlie Bites on the pizza.
Mix grated cheese + pumpkin, sprinkle over top and bake for 20 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
